Essense of the Nissan 370Z

On my photography journey i have come across a lot of cars that are interesting, expensive or someone elses idea of the WOW factor, but the Nissan 370Z has what i think of as the WOW factor. The lines of this beautifully designed car makes a statement of class and performance.

With this in mind, i took to the streets with a Z to try and capture what it is to drive and appreciate this Japanese marvel of the automotive industry.

Out in Broadbeach QLD we went looking for some interesting locations, such as Tedder ave as the lights and the general atmosphere can be changed within walking distance. The street lights and stone covered road really showed how clean the lines and curves of the Nissan were, especially the pearl white.

Working on a street at night there were a few challenges such as other traffic and pedestrians, but every time a car was coming to ruin the shot, the 370 had to take off and just the noise of the 3.7 litre echoing off the building really set the mood.

Once we were finished with the street we found a dark ramp going to a car park and it really changed the feel of the shoot, and the shadows were stepped up with the lighting.

I will be taking the MTN370 out for more shoots and to experience what it is to drive it through the hinterland of the Gold Coast.
